Left-handed blogging

CIMG3763In an OR at Emory University in Atlanta.  They’re getting me ready for rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder.  I asked anesthesiologist Dr. Heather Samady what to expect from her

After Dr. Samady has me feeling no pain, Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. John Xerogeanes (Dr.X) begins the procedure.

CIMG3768Post surgery, my right arm and shoulder felt like it was detached from my body and weighed 50 pounds.

CIMG3766Before the anesthesia wore off, it was easy to smile.  But now even with the pain killers,it’s a little tough.  This too shall pass.  God’s got me and helping this long-time righty to blog left-handed.
