A Teacup Yorkie dressed as Santa was at the Jingle Jog in McDonough, Georgia this weekend. I thought that this canine was a puppy, but its owner says it’s a 3-year old. Based on a google search, the Teacup Yorkie breed is surrounded by controversy. Many write that the “Teacup” is not a legitimate breed….that it’s only the runts from the true breed, the Yorkshire Terrier.
Runt or not, this owner sees her Teacup Yorkie as a precious pet. She’ll ignore what she may consider to be the snobbish postings…postings that advise against owning a runt from the Yorkshire Terrier family. Regardless, it’s a head turner.
