Cold+wind=misery

You can see the pain in their faces  as the two lead runners battle a head wind in the Race 2 Read 5K.   We’re near McDonough, Georgia about 40 miles south of Atlanta.  Temperatures below freezing and snow flurries were tolerable, but the winds cut right through us.  It was miserable.    It felt so good to get back inside and help Race Coordinator Tim Bagley celebrate his upcoming 48th birthday! You can see that Tim was touched!  The misery of the wind-chill soon is forgotten.
