Childhood-Adult Obesity

Childhood obesity is a euphemism for saying a child is fat or very overweight.  The same is true about adults.   A local school invited one of my friends, a health care professional, to talk to students about ways to reduce childhood obesity.    Unfortunately, my friend says many of the teachers and others at that school don’t set a very good example for the students.  How can a child be expected to acquire healthy eating habits and exercise when the adults in their lives are obese?   There are social and economic reasons for obesity.   Whatever the reasons, I would think that those delivering the message should be setting an example if they expect to be taken seriously by the children.
