A fast pushing mother

This mother and her baby are finishing Saturday’s “Summer’s End” 5K  in Winder, Georgia, about 40 miles northeast of Atlanta.  I’m always impressed with parents who are able to run and push a jogging buggy for 3.1 miles or more.  I don’t remember jogging buggies being available when my son was a baby in the late sixties. It would be more than 35 years later before a grandchild came along. At last I thought I’ll get to push. so we bought a jogging buggy.  For several reasons, we never used it.   The buggy is in my storage shed.  My grandson and his parents moved out west so that leaves me to admire others doing what I’ve never done…..and probably never will.
