There are no icons

One of the the definitions of an icon:  “someone to whom nothing can be added or taken away.”  In other words, there’s no way you can improve an icon.  Some refer to people they admire both dead and living as icons.   I’ve sometimes been called  “a broadcasting icon”.  I know I’m no icon broadcasting or otherwise.  There’s an infinite number of ways I could improve.    I suspect that’s true of the many other “icons”.
