Against instead of for….

Tomorrow (Tuesday-3-6-12) is primary day in Georgia, my home state.  Georgia joins nine other states on what has been dubbed “Super Tuesday”.  In most of the primaries and elections I’ve witnessed during my years as a journalist, a large majority of the people seem to vote against a candidate rather than enthusiastically settling on their choice.  Perhaps it’s easier to decide what you don’t like about a candidate instead of finding things you like about others.  This time around, I hear many people wishing they could nominate and come November punch “none of the above”.     Wonder if “none of the above” or a write-in candidate ever has won on the national level.
