A chandelier

We’d had the same chandelier in our dining room since we bought our house new almosst 15 years ago.  My wife decided she wanted something with a modern-day design.  After shopping for several weeks, she came home with a skinny design she liked.   An electrician installed it.  The dining room is where we both often read.  We quickly discovered the modern chandelier did not produce enough light.   She thought it would be a simple fixby getting higher wattage bulb, but not so.  The lower wattage that came with it were the only ones that would fit. I suggessted a return to the old chandelier, but my wife went shopping for another new one that would accept higher wattage bulbs.  It’s in our garage waiting for the electrician’s return
