a celebration of our country’s freedom and in Atlanta, Georgia the world’s largest 10K road race. More than 60-thousand runners-walkers are expected to navigate the 6.2 mile course. The heat could be dangerous. It’s expected to be 76 degrees at the 7:30 a.m. start time. The wheel-chair athletes rolled out 45 minutes earlier. On channel 2 in Atlanta (WSB-TV), I’ve reported on Peachtree participants with unusual stories. You can see those video stories on the web by going to wsbtv.com and scrolling down. God willing, I’ll be running-walking in the race with a camera and interviewing spectators and athletes along the way. You can watch the results on channel 2 during the 4 to 7 p.m. newsblock. Good evening!
